Privacy Policy
ORACLYN ("the app", "we", "us") is operated by BEZOL Creative Studios, based in Tema, Ghana. This policy explains what information the app handles, why, and the choices you have. We keep it short and plain on purpose.
The short version: there are no accounts. Your projects, planner, notes and settings stay in your own browser. We only receive your email and payment reference if you buy Pro, and the text you send to the AI Guide while it writes a reply.
1. What stays on your device
Your Studio slides and settings, Day planner entries, notes, ideas, reminders, My Alphabet, branding (name and logo), sound preferences and your Pro license key are saved in your browser's local storage. We do not receive this information and cannot read it. Clearing your browser data or using another device will not carry it over. The one exception is the AI features described in section 3.
2. What we collect when you buy Pro
- Email address, to process your checkout, send your receipt and license key, and re-send the key if you ask.
- License record: your key, the plan you chose, its expiry date, the payment reference and the date it was created.
- Payment details are collected and processed by Paystack on its own checkout page. Card and bank details never reach our servers. Paystack shares with us a confirmation that payment succeeded, the amount, currency and your email.
We use this only to run your Pro pass: to unlock features, deliver and recover your key, handle refunds and support requests, prevent abuse, and keep financial records we are required to keep.
3. The AI Guide, ideas and recap
When you use the AI Guide, the idea generator, the weekly recap, the Word Decoder acrostic or a deep codex reading, the text needed for that request (your message, and for the recap the planner entries you chose to summarise) is sent to our server and on to Anthropic's Claude API to write the reply. We do not store the text of these requests or the replies on our servers. We keep only a daily request counter per license key to prevent runaway use. Anthropic processes the text under its own terms and privacy policy. Please do not enter sensitive personal information, such as health details, government ID numbers or financial account numbers, into AI features.
The AI features are for adults aged 18 or over, and we do not knowingly provide them to anyone under 18.
The Guide is a reflective companion, not a medical or mental health professional. If you are in distress, please contact someone you trust or a qualified professional or local emergency service.
4. Service providers we use

We do not sell your personal information and we do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
5. Cookies and local storage
We do not set cookies. We use your browser's local storage to save your work and your license key, as described above. Paystack and other providers may set their own cookies on their own pages.
6. How long we keep things
- License records and the email linked to them: for as long as your pass is active, and afterwards for as long as needed for refunds, disputes, support and legal or accounting records.
- Daily AI usage counters: automatically deleted after about two days.
- Key recovery rate limit markers: automatically deleted after one minute.
7. Your rights and choices
You can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can object to or restrict certain uses. Depending on where you live, laws such as Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843), Nigeria's Data Protection Act, 2023, or the EU and UK GDPR may give you these rights. To use them, email support@yourdomain.com. We may need to confirm it is really you, for example by asking you to reply from the email you paid with. If you ask us to delete your license record, your key stops working. You may also complain to your local data protection authority, such as Ghana's Data Protection Commission.
8. International transfers
Our providers operate globally, so your information may be processed in countries other than your own. We choose providers that apply reasonable safeguards.
9. Security
We use encrypted connections, keep secret keys on the server only, verify payments directly with Paystack and verify webhooks by signature. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your license key private.
10. Children
ORACLYN is not directed at children under 13, and Pro purchases and AI features are for adults aged 18 or over. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app changes. The date at the top shows when it last changed. If a change is significant we will make that clear in the app.
